Use of Hypoxic Chambers
Hiwada Zone
The Hiwada Zone is fully equipped with hypoxic lodging facilities, enabling athletes to stay at effective altitudes higher than the actual altitude (up to an equivalent of 3,500 m). Altitude can be freely adjusted to match the conditioning and individual differences of each athlete, and hypoxic stimulation can be controlled daily.
Nigorigo Zone
The Nigorigo Zone is fully equipped with hypoxic training chambers that enable training under hypoxic conditions equivalent to 4,000 m. The facilities are perfect for high-level training for athletes and prior acclimatization for mountaineers.
